15 October 2025 — In the spirit of Deepavali, Mega Fortris Group through its Mega Fortris Community Outreach Initiative, successfully organised and sponsored the Deepavali Provisions Distribution Programme; in collaboration with Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) – a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the urban poor, homeless and marginalized communities with food, medical aid and other essential assistance.

The provisions, consisting of pre-packed perishable dry food supplies prepared by KSK were collected from their center in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur and delivered to the distribution point in Desa Mentari, Sunway, Selangor.

A total of 20 enthusiastic volunteers from Mega Fortris came together to ensure the initiative’s success. With thoughtful planning and their dedicated participation, the volunteers were divided into teams to ensure all provisions are distributed by hand – promptly, efficiently and with compassion. The programme benefited 15 underprivileged families, providing much needed support while spreading warmth and festive joy throughout the community.

As part of Mega Fortris Financial Year End (FYE) 2026 broader Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy, similar community outreach programmes have been planned for the upcoming festive seasons, particularly Christmas, Chinese New Year, and Hari Raya, as part of an ongoing mission to give back to society through meaningful community engagement.

Together, we hope our small acts of kindness create a ripple of comfort and hope for those in need. With the support of our partners and volunteers, we will remain committed to creating a lasting positive impact within the community.
